What is a Documoto Widget?

Documoto Widgets are a low-code, embeddable version of the Documoto application or interactive content, designed to integrate seamlessly into external websites or applications and ensure accessibility for users across different platforms.

Available Widget Types 

Documoto currently supports the following Widget types: 

  • Library Widget: embed the complete Documoto Library*
  • Media Widget: embed a specific Media from the Documoto Library
  • Page Widget: embed a specified Page from the Documoto Library

Feature Limitations by Widget Type

While Documoto Widgets offer extensive functionality, certain Documoto features are not available. Key limitations include:

Unavailable in Library Widget

  • Account menu
  • Admin menu

Unavailable in All Widgets

  • Favorites
  • Report an Issue
  • Native Documoto shopping cart*
    • *While the native shopping cart is not supported, you can connect Widgets to an external shopping cart using the add-to-cart event configuration. Refer to the Widgets Developer Guide for more information.

  1. Visit: Library Widget Playground
  2. Scroll to the "Embed with Documoto" section
  3. Click the "Open Documoto Library" button to launch the Library Widget
