How to Use Copy Page

The Copy Page feature allows Publishers to create a new page by duplicating an existing an page. This feature is especially useful when a page has been revised and only requires minor edits, such as adding or removing a Bill of Materials (BOM) row, adding a diagram, etc. Instead of building a page from scratch, Publishers can copy an existing page and make the necessary edits.

When to Use Copy Page

Use the Copy Page feature when:

  • A page has been revised and requires minor updates
  • You need to update the BOM, diagram, or minor metadata changes without recreating the entire page
  • You want to maintain the existing page while creating a new version

How to Use Copy Page

  1. Within the Documoto Admin Center, go to Content > Pages.
  2. Search for, find, and select the existing Page you wish to duplicate. 
  3. Click Copy Page.
  4. Enter a new page filename for the copied page.
  5. Review and update the page translation(s), as needed.
  6. Click Submit.
