How to Relate Media to Templates

This article describes how to relate media to templates. 

Media related to a Template will be related to each Media that is created from that Template.

How to Relate Content to Templates

  1. Within Documoto Admin, go to Content > Templates.
  2. Search for and select the Template that you wish to relate media to. 
  3. While viewing the Template Editor, select Related from the left sub-navigation menu.
  4. Click +Add.
  5. Search for and select the media that you wish to relate to the media. Note: more than one piece of content may be selected at a time.
  6. Click Select and Close.

How to Delete Media Related to Templates

  1. Within Documoto Admin, go to Content > Templates.
  2. Search for and select the Template that the media you wish to delete is related to.
  3. While viewing the Template Editor, select Related from the left sub-navigation menu.
  4. Select the related media you wish to delete. Note: more than one related media may be removed at a time.
  5. Click Delete. 
  6. Confirm Delete in the new window.
