How to Configure Library Settings
Library Settings control tenant-wide library elements and options. In order to access these settings, you must belong to a User Group with Tenant Admin privileges enabled.
Please use care when making changes to these settings, as updates will impact all users.
By default, all organizations will inherit the tenant Library Settings while others can be overridden at the organization level. Details on how to override the Library Admin defaults can be found in this article: How to Create and Configure Organizations

Books and Pages Display
Below you will find a list of all of the available book and page display settings that can be configured for your tenant, along with information on system defaults:
| Setting | Description | System Default |
| Display TOC State Open |
This setting allows you to set whether the Table of Contents should automatically be opened or not when a user opens a Book type media in the library. Note: Users can override this setting in the Account menu > Settings > Preferences. |
Default for this setting defaults the Table of Contents to be closed when opening a book in the Library |
| Default Parts List Layout |
This setting allows you to set whether the default parts list layout in the Page Viewer in the library should be vertical (BOM on right) or horizontal (BOM on bottom). Note: Users can override this setting in the Account menu > Settings > Preferences. |
Default for this setting is equivalent to Vertical |
| Fixed Hotpoint Size |
This feature enables a setting that sets all hotpoints to be the same size on all pages. |
Default for this setting is equivalent to Disabled |
| Override Hotpoint Scale |
This allows you to customize the scale of hotpoints across all pages in the Documoto library. This feature is typically used in conjunction with the Zoom Hotpoint to Canvas Size feature described below. This setting can be helpful to use if content is being published to Documoto with associated SVG images and no manual intervention (via Documoto Page Builder) is being used to resize hotpoints to the same size of callouts on drawings. The two settings together allow Administrators to normalize the size of hotpoints across all pages when there is a wide degree of variance between the callout sizes and interactive hotpoint sizes on diagrams. |
Default for this setting is equivalent to Disabled |
| Zoom Hotpoint to Canvas Size |
This ensures that Documoto will take the image size into account when applying the Override Hotpoint Scale. |
Default for this setting is equivalent to Enabled |
| Hotpoint Zoom Behavior |
When disabled, this allows you to set the callout zoom behavior to make the image stay at the current zoom level when clicking on the items in the BOM or a callout. |
Default for this setting is equivalent to Enabled |
| Override SVG Opacity |
When enabled, this setting allows you to change the opacity of the interactive hotpoint overlay over callouts in your diagrams. If you set this to 0%, all hotpoints in the library will be completely transparent (though users can still click on the transparent callout and there will still be interactivity between the BOM and diagram). |
Default for this setting is opacity at 100% (i.e. 0% transparency) |
Toast Notifications
Customers looking to customize the behavior and duration of their Toast Notifications when users add a part to their cart, can now do so within their tenant Library Settings.
As an Administrator, you can go to Admin > Admin Center > Tenant Administration > Library Settings to enable the feature, as shown below:
Refer to the below for an understanding of the available settings:
