BI Data Extracts Overview

Documoto BI Data Extracts is a paid subscription add-on that enables customers to access and export daily data from your Documoto environments for use in business intelligence and analytics platforms.

The extracts provide structured access to operational, usage, and transactional data, allowing customers to analyze:

  • Content and media performance
  • User behavior and engagement
  • Order and quote activity 
  • Platform usage and adoption trends

Extracted data can be integrated into tolls such as:  Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense, Domo, Sisense, ThroughtSpot, and IBM Cognos Analytivs.

How to Access BI Data Extracts

After subscribing to BI Data Extracts, customers will receive an API key from their Documoto Customer Success Manager. This API key is required to authenticate requests and retrieve the available BI data sets. 

Data extracts can be: 

  • Are available for scheduled or recurring exports (e.g. daily)
  • Can be pulled directly into BI tools or data lake environments
  • Are intended for reporting, analytics, and integration workflows
