This article describes how publishers can create, edit, and delete page part tags.
Page Part Tags allow publishers to capture unique part information that is only relevant when the part appears on a certain page or assembly. For example, a part may have a critical part rating, but only when that part is included on a particular assembly. Given this, Page Part Tags are also referred to as "local" tags - as the information is localized to the page the part is included on.
Note: Page Part Tags are not searchable in the Library
Conversely, a Part Tag, or "global" tag, will be displayed as metadata wherever the part appears in the Library.
