Since users are not always able to access a computer or mobile device, Documoto has a solution that allows users to download static content, such as PDFs, images and other documents, for offline viewing.
For information on how to export, or print, interactive content, such as parts books, chapters or assemblies to PDF format, please refer to: How to Print Interactive Content in Documoto Classic.
- Static media (such as PDFs or images) can be printed directly from Documoto itself.
- First navigate to the static media page by navigating to the appropriate media shelf, book, chapter and page (Note: Many static media pages are simply contained on a shelf and do not need to be found within books.)
- Once the page is selected, an embedded file will open in Documoto’s ‘Document Viewer.’
- On the top right side of the PDF viewer are print and download icons that can be used to print the document or save the document to a desktop or mobile device.
