To improve book loading time in the Library, Documoto caches a book's table of contents ("TOC") data the first time the book is opened after any changes to the parts, pages, and content within the book have indexed. If a single part belongs to 100 books and that part is changed in some way upon publishing for a new book, the TOC cache will invalidate for all 100 books the part already belongs to.
Most changes to a book's table of contents will cause its TOC cache to invalidate. For example, if a publisher adds pages to a book's TOC, the cache will reset automatically. As a result, the next time the book is opened in the Library, it will take longer to open and Documoto will again store memory of all part, page, and chapter data for the book.
Once the TOC is cached in Documoto, the book data should load within seconds.
